So it appears we may have some winter weather in Houston tomorrow night into Friday. Most of the reliable Computer Models (GFS, EURO, NAM and a few others) are in pretty good agreement with this potential outcome. The question is.. Will it be snow? Sleet? Or freezing rain? Here are a few of the latest runs below:

    NOAA's Ice/Freezing Rain percentages

The models have been trending colder and wetter since yesterday afternoon. Obviously things can change and none of this is certain. However, the fact that the models have come to a pretty good consensus, the odds are much higher that this comes to fruition. Here's to hoping the trend continues!

Suck it up, women. I went skiing last night ( for the first time) in 1 degree weather. It was so cold that what little sweat ran down my face was trying to freeze the edges of my eyes shut. My ski instructor (a good friend of mine) told me, "good, let it freeze them all the way shut. You'll probably ski better than way."

Aw come on guys. You don't want to see everyone in Houston on lock down because we got a little ice?

Looks like the weather service will be issuing a Winter Storm Watch for the area shortly.

It seems like overnight temperatures have been dipping and rising fairly quickly. I dont think it's going to be at or below freezing long enough.

Edit- Just read he's autistic. Can't believe I've never seen his videos.

If he is autistic than autism is a superpower. Been following him for all my weather updates for 8 months now.

    Thanks for that.

Slide that b**** to 5pm Thursday.

From Thursday, 5pm, until about 11pm, there's a huge green SCHLONG across the SouthEast with its tip ending in Alice and its scrotum hanging over South Southwest of Freeport, probably dropping its load on McAllen.

I tend not to think of SCHLONGS when looking at a weather map

I had some ellesse loafers turned into chia pets when the pipes burst after the early '90s storm. Had to put paneling on every wall in the house. When I moved to Omaha, I would habitually turn all the faucets the first few times I heard about a big freeze or storm coming.
