It is hard to imagine that a 1000 page book about the building of a cathedral could be so entertaining.

Finished And the Mountains Echoed a couple nights ago. Great read...the character development was excellent, with a good handful of different stories getting woven into one as the book neared the end. Although the ending was well done, it wasnt the ending I was hoping for...
I was reading the book thinking the ending would be a fairytale ending, but instead, it was partly happy and partly sad...not that it was a bad thing, it just caught me a little off guard.

Moving onto an 800 pager, which Im not sure I have the patience for, but we will see...

I am about to dive in to some Carl Hiaasen, but I'm starting backwards with his more recent young adult novels, going with 'Chomp' first...

Well written and very interesting. Somewhat depressing though too, which is typical of most books I read. Recommended.

I just started Kill Decision by Daniel Suarez.

Before that I read the Divergent series. Great reads, similar to the Hunger Games. Movie coming out later this year.

This book, and its SO INSANELY BORING:

However, I hear the series picks up after you get past this terrible 10th installment where nothing happens for 800 pages.
