I just got the LG G2 on Amazon for $49. I was tempted by the Moto X, but I couldn't get over the hardware difference.

Moto X on Verizon through MotoMaker is 99cents on contract. That's a hell of a deal.

Nice! I have a 521 (T-Mobile branded) as my backup phone, and love it. I use the WiFi Hotspot feature a few times a week when I'm traveling. My primary phone is a Lumia 1020 on AT&T. The 52x is a hell of a phone for $60 off-contract.

I actually wrote a plenty lengthy review about bout the 521 back in May when it came out. The Nokia exclusive apps make it an absolute steal. I've bought 4 of them so far as replacement phones for family, they are great for teenagers who constantly lose/break their phoens.

I recently switched out my 1020 for a 1520. Good God this phone is a beast. It's fast and the screen is gorgeous. I use it as my primary phone and my 520 as an MP3 player for working out. Its an awesome combo.

Man the 1520 is just so freaking huge. I'm a big guy and I feel like a toddler holding that thing, I couldn't really fathom how big it was in comparison to my 1020 the first time I saw it in person. It is beautiful, and I love the third row of icons - it is just too much phone for me.

I'm really anxious to see the line up of Windows 8.1 launch phones. It is going to have to take a pretty amazing phone for me to give up my 1020. Fingers crossed.

The glossy silver around the phone.

I don't like the styling either but the iPhone 4 had that shiny ring thing as well. Samsung likes flashy and glossy styled phones for some reason.

You're right about the iPhone 4 but it wasn't THAT glossy, and it had a more premium feel to it. I really wish they would completely change their phones. They all pretty much look alike.

I guess everyone that constantly complains that all of the Samsung phones look alike... got what they wished for? That is a terrible design.

The photos on the 1520 are really great. Sure, they aren't 1020 quality, but I would say they aren't a distant second. The 1520 is also really conducive of using a stylus for note taking and such. The size of the phone was hard to get used to at first, but honestly after a couple of days I can say that I am ok with it. Plus, the increase in speed (in what is already a relatively snappy OS)really makes up for any size issues.
