Yeah, they still have a shot. Look what Udrih did filling in the void.

Dang, I was really hoping for a Grizzlies upset. No way they win now. Adams reminds me a lot of Luke Walton and Sasha Vujecic, whose only talent was to pester and annoy the opposing team's best players. My guess is Fisher brought that idea to the table. Just another reason to despise that team.

Weak ass suspension. Should have been a stiff fine.

    1) Z-Bo needs to have the wits to not react when baited by a worthless rookie
    2) Overreaction by the NBA and totally changes the landscape of game 7

He punched him in the chin... that is far from an overreaction. And the worthless rookie just put up 5 blocks in 20 minutes. (2nd youngest player to do so in a playoff game.)

Looks more like a shove than a punch.. Shoves are in every game!

I've seen worse common fouls than that.

You would people who get paid millions to run the league would have better judgement that this.

I was rooting for the Grizzlies... but yea, he had to be suspended. He punched a guy on court. It doesn't get simpler than that.

Beverley just plays aggressive defense in the way that a Tony Allen or Manu Ginobli does. He actually contributes to the game and isn't used solely to get under an opposing players skin, like Adams.

This is why you finish a series when you can.....you never know what can happen.

I'll spot you Adams, my point would have been better stated if I said that Z-Bo has a far greater impact on the game than Adams at this point, and his loss is crucial to the outcome of game 7 - he's averaged 20/10 vs. OKC.

It looks a lot worse in slow-mo, but I still think it's an overreaction. I think Big Baby's takedown of O'Neal's knee is a lot more egregious. The NBA is not consistent in their suspension rulings - see Paul George's non-suspension when he was CLEARLY on the court when he shouldn't have been, where so many others have been banned.

Link below in case anyone cares.

I thought George should have been suspended as well. Either change the rule or follow through.

    (much like this follow through)

Jesus, that's a punch- how stupid- that's why Z-Bo will probably never be a champion. Once a punk, always a punk. And I hate the Thunder. Damn.

(of course, Rasheed Wallace won one, so who knows?)

What a weak ass punch. I don't think he was sure if he wanted to shove or punch so he ended up push-punching. Still, closed fist, must suspend.

I had to be suspended for a closed fist... these posters complaining are full of hot hair, considering is trying to limit these altercations. Casual fans/viewers already think the league is filled with thugs who like to fight. It comes with territory.
