2014 NBA Playoffs: Chicago Bulls(4) vs Washington Wizards(5)

I have no idea why I'm excited to watch this series but I am.

 

This will go at least 6, with the Wizards winning.

 

Wall and Beal will dominate.....And the Wiz will welcome back Nene to go with Gortat..Ariza on the wing....Chicago will have a hard time putting up points and Washington will kick their butts.
Bet it and book it.

It MIGHT not even go six.

 

A suggestion for poll item order

Not sure if this is the place to post it.

Suggestion for the order of items the polls: The order should make it easier to visually (graphically using the bar on the right) see what CFers think about the relative strength of the teams. The poll items for when series goes to 7 games should be in the middle because their relative strength is about equal. When series goes only to 4 games, it's not close and should be on the extremes/sides. This makes the bars on the right of polls more useful and does not require referring back to the numbers on the left.

Bulls vs Wizard poll reordered. The bars on the right are more useful.

I'm shocked by all those on TV and here that think the Wizards will win this series.

I have respect for the ability of Nene and Marcin to trouble the Bulls bigs on both offense and defense, as well as the growing brilliance of Wall & Beal but...
I give the Wizards two games. Chicago wins in 6 at most.

 

Chicago is one of those teams, like Indiana, that goes all out all the time, which usually doesn't bode well for the playoffs because they don't have that "extra gear", as it were. I though this was especially apparent in 2011 when the Heat just massacred them in the playoffs after having been swept in the reg. season. BTW, we're gonna see this again when the Heat play the Nets in round 2.

 

So with that in mind, I see the Wiz winning this in 6. Chicago just doesn't have the offense to hang once the Wiz get a better sense of the schemes. And I believe John Wall is the best player in the series.

 

I wonder how much Gortat is going to make this offseason.

 

Wiz would be doing a lot better if they could make their FTs.
