It's not nitpicking. A big part of having a good keeper is his distribution. When I've coached keepers in the past, it was an important part of our training. They have to have good vision and at least a decent ability with their feet. You can't give the ball back to the other team constantly and expect the defense in front of you to stop them every time.
So, Kaka to Orlando City in 2015. And, Giles Barns switches to Jamaica. Congrats to Barnes as this will be his one shot to play some international ball and at least have a chance at a World Cup. Jamaica has fallen behind the 4 CONCACAF teams that are in the Cup this year, but they're good enough to at least get in the last round of qualifying and then, maybe they go on a good run. On, Kaka...the frustration continues for the Dynamo fans. I realize they weren't in consideration for Kaka, but it would be nice to be mentioned at least once as a possible landing spot. Good players with plenty left to offer in Europe who want to come to the US and the Dynamo are nowhere to be found. I know AEG doesn't give them the resources that the Galaxy get. It just reinforces the need to find local ownership that is willing to invest. If not, what's happening this season is likely to continue. The rest of the league is getting better and the Dynamo go nowhere.
^ I would rather have NO superstars as long as the team we're fielding does well. If we need help, it better be someone young, not someone aging... I realize Kaká still has much to offer, but I really don't see how he could fill in seats in Houston. I can see how they (MLS peeps) will want to do that in Orlando. Nonetheless, I'm still hoping we can contend this season.
You don't think Kaka is a worlwide name? People would be intrigued to see a former World Player of the Year, A.C Milan and Real Madrid star in Houston. At least I think so. And even at his aging self, Kaka would be killer in the MLS for a couple of years. Most aging stars that have come to the MLS have been way above the competition for a good number of years.
The game is tonight and will be streaming live online. Here are the links: http://www.houstondynamo.com/live https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJjVzxaPNNM <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/hJjVzxaPNNM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
There's some good news because Honduras is eliminated from the World Cup, Oscar Boniek Garcia is going to come back with the Dynamo.

Ok, good. Now all they need is to win some games to get back in the playoff picture and get a new ownership group so they can spend money on a big name star or two. :cross fingers:
I wonder at what point the MLS brass demand that AEG sell the Dynamo? Are there still other owners that have multiple teams? This is still the one facet of the MLS that makes it a minor league. To be big boys, one owner should not own multiple teams.
The center backs are killing this team. Some of huge guys they are trotting out there like Bruner and Cochran shouldn't even be on an MLS roster, let alone be playing huge minutes. Idk what happened to jermaine Taylor, he was the most consistent defender on the team like 18 months ago. I think Dom has to slide Rico or creavalle back there, or maybe both.
Yeah, it's insanity. Definitely the sign of an illegitimate league. But I'm not sure how many people even know this is going on, I'm sure even the casual fan doesn't realize this

Many players are returning from their national teams in the World Cup. Brad Davis (USA), Boniek Garcia (Honduras), and Tim Cahill (Australia) are among them.
