    Ok... didn't see the first two minutes of the game.
    I don't think it was a good decision to leave him out so long, though. I think they lost the game in those last 5 minutes.

    Cisco just got a block on the perimeter and a forced a steal on Dragic in the paint. Great value

    4 pt game with 8min to go. Dominicans are really fun to watch

    Cisco taken out of the game with 5 min to go, responded with visible frustration...immediately put back into the game

    Garcia with another block off the defensive rotation after scoring on an iso play.

    Probably doesn't mean much, but I feel more comfortable with him filling in for Harden if needed.

    Zoran with great defense on Cisco leading to steal and fastbreak layup. Very next play stuffs DR's big in the paint. Next play scores off the curl (BLOB play).

    Yeah, someone will offer him a contract.

    Nobody thinks Rubio isn't a good defender. It's his complete lack of a shot and finishing ability that turns people off on him.

    The Brazilian team's good performance in FIBA is probably a make up to their country's soccer team's poor performance the last 2 games in FIFA World Cup.

    The same thing for Spain, if they win it all in their own home court and in front of their fans, they can be more popular than the soccer team.

    The 2013 FIBA Asia tournament showed how much Chinese guards struggle (and had a different coach from previous years) and relied too much on their bigs. Ironically, they never played the Philippines, due to the groupings, and got knocked out by "Chinese Taipei" aka Taiwan before they reached the semi-finals. All the zones will have another major tournament next summer to get the spot for the 2016 Olympics. So if USA loses this World Cup, then they can still compete at the 2015 FIBA Americas to qualify for the 2016 Olympics.

    As for everyone who keeps asking if Blatche is Filipino? No, he doesn't have any heritage.

    Every team is allowed one naturalized player, which the rule obtaining citizenship after 16. More and more teams are utilizing this rule. If you have dual-citizenship before 16, then it doesn't count as naturalized. Prior to Blatche, the Philippines used Marcus Douthit. JaVale McGee was originally rumored to play first but he got injured.

    How is it possible that Asik played almost 28 minutes and end up with only 3 REB, 1 FGA and 4 PTS?
