    Appel being sent to extended ST. Luhnow said his performance so far has been unsettling. There's definitely something going on.

    I'm still well short of panic mode on Appel. The appendectomy combined with the tandem system and Lancaster.

    Not that the tandem system is without its merits, it gives us a chance to look at a lot of arms we usually wouldn't get to see, but for the likes of Appel or Folty, you should just have them on normal rotation. I don't like changing players from what they have grown accustomed to and will face in the show.

    Domingo Santana just hit his 2nd homer of the year for OKC. The 2-run shot in the 4th cuts OKC's deficit against Nashville to 5-3.

    Josh Hader is not playing games. 35 K's in 23.2 innings, a whip of 0.97, and only 5 walks. He just turned 20, nice :grin:

    Hader (a very good LHP prospect) presumably was the biggest piece the Astros got in the Norris trade, followed closely by the prime draft pick, with Hoes being a decent stop-gap OF.

    A great move by Luhnow.
