Mark Appel dominant, really good to see.

Good thing he got the hell out of Lancaster... maybe Hader should go back there to get his confidence back (in some weird twisted backwards psychological way...).

 

Hader will be fine. Just takes time to adjust to better level of competition.

 

Yep.... that's what I said earlier.

The Lancaster "effect" doesn't actually effect everyone.

 

Very very happy to see this from Appel. Finish strong, have a strong AFL, and we could see him competing for a spot in the rotation come ST.

All 10 of Appel's strikeouts were swinging. Beautiful, we may finally have our 1-1 back.

 

Love me some River an on base machine.

Kudos to Appel for that dominant outing.

 

While I'm slightly concerned how Appel will handle adversity down the road it's nice to see him get back on track. Hopefully we can see him develop into a productive mlb player.

I assumed we already traded Appel for 2 high schoolers.

 

Luhnow drafted/acquired guys are more likely to get the benefit of the doubt.
