True, we will have to overspend and over pay, but its worth doing if the player is somewhat interested in playing for Pool.

Yeah well, FIFA has confirmed the 12 month ban now. They took their appeal to CAS, who gave them a glimmer of hope by asking for more documents on transfer/registration of foreign minors last week. However it's now been confirmed that their appeal has been rejected.

I'm not counting anything out, but it's hard to see where they will go next to get this overturned now.

we absolutely need a new keeping/striker.

mignolet makes too many dumb errors.

if only they could force a swap like i did in fifa, Courtois ftw

Peter Cech is a more realistic target haha.
Rumors flying around about Benzema and we're still targeting Shaqiri.

BREAKING: Steven Gerrard to leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

Kind of bittersweet, but it is time. ):

As long as Stevie doesn't stay in the EPL.

Can't imagine all the feels when he puts on the captain arm band for the last time.

Who will be the new skipper? Everyone is relatively new. Better not be Turtle. Hendo?

Hendo is Vice-Captain right now,so him I guess, but I would give the nod to Studge and Coutinho as well in due to time.

Those feels are gunna be crazy, I still think he has one more year in the EPL with Liverpool, I just wish BR would play him behind Sterling, Stevie can't play as a holding mid, he can still surge forward for time to time and pick out a pass.

Sturridge isn't healthy enough to deserve the arm band. Coutinho is a curious pick. Ideally I would like someone who grew up from the academy to get it... but that only leaves us with Wisdom and Sterling. Sterling will bolt to a contender soon and Wisdom

I also think Stevie has at least 1 more season for quality football left in him though his minutes/games should be limited. Sad that we didn't get the EPL title with him. Last season was probably the closest we have gotten, but unfortunately his one slip last season against Chelsea was the turning point of our undoing.

I'm already preparing myself for life without Captain Fantastic so I won't get all sad and moody when the day finally comes :(
At least he won't get lowballed and go to Toronto to end his career.
