Great week for City. Close to within 3 point of Chelsea in the Premier League and beat Roma 2-0 without Aguero which coupled with Moscow losing have City advance to the round of 16 which after mustering up only 2 points in the first 4 group games seemed highly unlikely. It's going to suck without Aguero for what Pelligrini has said should be 4-6 weeks, but Dzeko and Jovetic are still strong options up front and with Silva back from injury and the news of Pogba possibly joining City in January, I think we have enough to get by in the Premier League and Aguero should be back by the time Champions League starts back in mid February.

You were doing good and was on point all the way until the silly bolded part. Pogba is going nowhere in January.

City need another forward. Never should have sold Negredo.

United look comfortable so far even without playing at our best. Liverpool have become shyte compared to last season

Liverpool's finishing is beyond poor. Sterling's confidence looks completely shot.

On the same note, De Gea is an unbelievable form, easily the best player for United so far this season.

Riedle just had to draw Juventus vs Dortmund. Couldn't happen any other way.

I'm just glad Bayern isn't going to face Arsenal again. Not that they wouldn't beat them up, I just want to see different matchups, so that's a nice draw. Leverkusen might have minor chances on Atletico, Schalke is out without a doubt.

Haha yes, I was thinking the same thing. I was at that match in 1997...agree with everything in your post. Schalke will get clubbed like baby seals. It won't be pretty!

Taking in consideration City is on the rise in the EPL I think we got the worst possible opponent.. They do seem to choke in ECL so I guess we have that to look forward to. Oh and of course Madrid draws Schalke, not Basel but still Schalke..:mad:

Don't think you have to worry about City, they're trash against European competition.

I think - and my predictions are almost always wrong - only three teams can win the CL this season. Favorites (ranked): Real, Bayern, Chelsea

That's what I'm thinking too. In that exact order. Now watch us be wrong and Shaktar going all the way..
