Ireland with the 1:1 in the 94th vs Germany, urgh. The favourites are really struggling so far, but think all will pull through eventually.
Reasons: 1) Missing Basti 2) Missing Lahm (who will not come back) 3) We won the World Cup not because of, but despite Löw (many players agree)
No real system or tactics, wrong formations and nominations are a few things that come to my mind. And he'S really stubborn regarding his decisions.
Thiago tore his pre-injured ligament again, f***ed up! We should've never allowed him to be treated by Spanish doctors instead of team doc Müller-Wohlfahrt, Pep has to learn from this. Disgusting to see such a talented player waste basically two seasons time because of injuries.
Not sure if you folks caught this but the Euro 2016 qualifier between Serbia and Albania yesterday had to be suspended due to a drone flown by Albanian fans displaying a black flag with the coat of arms of Albania and words speaking to the independence of Kosovo. Here are a couple of videos of the ludicrous insanity. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/I0h9mWv2hqA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/uDs5mwNRY7U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Come on, now! You don't win a World Cup despite a bad coach. With him as the head coach, our team delivered in every single tournament, while all the other big football nations failed at least once in the mean time. He made one giant mistake regarding his lineup and tactics against Italy (Semis Euro 2012), but that's about it. Right now, the team struggles because a lot quality and experience retired (Lahm, Mertesacker, Klose), a lot injuries occured (Schweinsteiger, Khedira, Reus, Badstuber, Höwedes, Gomez, Özil,...) and even the Polish and Irish have to admit, they got very, very lucky to escape with a win/a draw.
Very interesting. Never knew about this issue between Pep and the doc. This is a baaaad look for Pep. I know his brother is Thiago's agent but Pep shouldn't have the final say over Thiago, his agent and the team doctor. This article seems to shed some light http://433.nl/m#!/article/14868/Guardiola-versus-Wohlfahrt
No way one of them leaves, Pep will bow down and realize his mistakes. You don't leave a club because of a feud with the team for, especially now he should realize that Wohlfahrt is the best doc.
First time in 6945 games since match data in Bundesliga that a team doesn't attempt one shot on a goal, wow. Bremen really is complete trash, think they'll go straight to 2nd league.
According to BILD, Thiago travelled to Barcelona gain to consult his doc. This guy just doesn't get it apparently, wtf. We have one of the most renowned docs in Müller-Wohlfahrt, Thiago's Spanish doc repeatedly f****s up which results in recurring injuries...and you still mistrust MW and go to that doc in Barcelona again?! We should involve a clause in every player's contract which prohibits them from letting other doctors treating them without Bayern's yes.
I think that will be a problem to do as some players do go see other world reknowned specialists for their injuries and are comfortable doing so. Thiago's doctor on the other hand.... Muller-Wohlfahrt is known for getting players right. It seems to be more of a common sense thing. If you go see your doctor/specialist a few times already and things aren't getting better, then perhaps the next step is for the team(sporting director or manager but we know Pep won't agree) to make the player go see the team doctor(or another specialist).
