They mostly use the arena for boxing, concerts, MMA, etc. Some of the biggest boxing matches take place at the MGM.

All they need to do for basketball is to put the wood floor down and move some seats around.

^ Yeah, I realized that after I though about it haha

    Still a decent sized arena!

Randle is scary good at taking dudes off the dribble from the arc (and finishing). I was hoping TJ could gain that ability...

TJ has good handles for a big guy, but there is just some awkwardness with that guy. Seems like he just needs an extra second to gather the ball. Randle is more fluid.

TJ's handles right now is useful on the fast break, but not as much in the half-court.

LOL, Ellington couldn't even knock down wide open 3s and he is supposed to be a shooter.

Julius Randle is nice though. Great handles for a big man, and seems like he's been working on his jumper.

It seems that if he can get the defender to bite on the pump fake (besides creating separation) it allows him time to gather the ball and actually do something with it. Of course, he'll need a more consistent jumpshot before he can get that pumpfake going.

About Randle: He is good off the dribble, but when he doesn't beat the defense all the way, his instinct is to shoot a running hook, which is still need work. It looks to have that "Rafer Alston teardrop" efficiency right now. He would also benefit from passing the ball to an open teammate in these situations.

Too inexperienced. That is why he is a rookie.

He need to learn when to use his ball handling skills, when to shoot and more importantly, when to pass. But he obviously have a lot of potentials.
