    I'm running out of popcorn.

I think I'm gonna get one of those huge tins with the cheese, butter, and caramel trio.

Lin needs the help of Tinman and King1.

Then he might blossom into an above average player.

14 pts/ 7 assist. Nothing spectacular, just average like last year. This thread can now be put to rest.

Lin has had an efficient game, but he still makes many of the same mistakes. He drove into traffic and jump passed it to nobody, where Danny Green stole it and ran a fast break. On another fast break, he went 1-on-4, made a good move on Joseph but didn't see Danny Green for the chasedown block.

Still makes some poor IQ moves, but I'm glad to see he had an efficient game.

This was all at the beginning of the game.

Lin was 6-8 to start out, then 0-6 with no assists through the end of 3rd and 4th quarter.

Meanwhile Young, Boozer and Hill had huge games to keep this game close when the Spurs came back.

You could easily just say 6-14, 14 pts and 7 assists, but it doesn't tell you how it works in the flow of the game--- which as I've stated is why he's a candidate to be out of the league next year.

Tells you everything you need to know about the type of player we're dealing with.

Stats dont tell the whole story.

Like a number of games this season he had a good first half but then did a 180 and sucked it up in the second half.

Not only do you have to worry about his inconsistency from game to game, you even have to worry about it half to half.

...which is why scott did not even have him on the floor to close out the game and only for last minute of the OT.

Even in that one minute, Lin showed why you cant trust him with the ball. Kobe passes the ball to him and Lin panics. He had a wide open shooter on the wing and never looks to him and passes it to a covered Young who makes a really tough shot. You saw Bryant whack Lin in the head and even JVG called out Lin's low basketball IQ.

Rofl yeah sure. I can count at least 100 guys that cpuld be out of the league before Lin does

Yeah he's an inconsistent mediocre player, duh.

He can play well for bursts and then plays poorly. Like JVG says the difference between very good players and mediocre players is the ability to consistently play well.

Hmm, Lin comes back into the game, takes a huge charge, plays good defense, and the Lakers win...

Nice bounce back game from Lin.

Nothing spectacular but considering his last two game, it is progress.

I love he just kept shooting even though his shots were not falling. Some of the shots are really easy buckets, though.
