"Cleveland Cavaliers general manager David Griffin said first-year coach David Blatt isn't going anywhere, despite ongoing speculation that a rift has developed. 'This narrative of our coaching situation is truly ridiculous,' Griffin told reporters on Sunday. 'It's a non-story, it's a non-narrative. Coach Blatt is our coach, he's going to remain our coach. Do not write that as a vote of confidence. He never needed one. It was never a question. So don't write it that way.'" http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...veland-cavaliers-david-blatt-truly-ridiculous Spoiler
Kyrie Irving left the game today with tightness in his lower back and won't play tomorrow. If he misses Wednesday's game along with LeBron, the Rockets really have no excuses.
That team has no chill. Everyone wants the ball. Waiters and Kyrie jump like little b****es when Lebron has the ball, demanding it. No type of offense, just 1 on 1.
Dwight for Kevin Love makes both Cleveland and Houston better....they get playing time for Tristan Thhompson - and the Rockets get a top notch stretch 4 who also rebounds well....and allows DMo to play the post up inside out game at the center position. Get r done Morey. DD
Love NEXT to Dwight is perfect, but I do not want Love alone. Dude provides absolutely no resistence when players drive to the basket.
Wifey got me courtside seats to Rockets vs Cavs game.. would have loved to see the Rockets go up against a healthy Cavs squad.
Carl wanted to trade James Harden for the PF version of James Harden. Just messing with you. Cavalier Move: Breaking Down a Surprisingly Sensible Three-Way Trade
I like this move for CLE. They'll get solid perimeter D from Shumpert, and a legit bench scorer in JR, assuming JR can find his 2012 self. Also, they may be able to scoop Dalembert off waivers; they need C depth desperately. Dion to OKC scares me. He could really thrive there.
There is no point in getting Kevin Love because he will be free in the summer anyway, if you really want Love you wait in the summer, trade Dwight to someone else for assets and then just sign Love in FA. With that said Love is the new era Juwon Howard, he puts up stats but don't actually contribute to winning since he is inefficient and doesn't play D. The East is so bad the Cavs should be winning even without Lebron, yet with 2 max players and several solid ones the Caves are getting smacked around left and right. There no point in getting a defensive sieve, he scores 20 but the opponent scores 25 on his ass a night.
What if Lebron only went back to Cleveland to completely destroy the rebuilding that accomplished in getting Wiggins/Irving. Trades Wiggins for rental of Love. Moves a ton of young talent and 1st round picks. He and Love bolt during free agency.
Lebron may quit his team again if the Cavs are not going to be great soon. But the Cavs are different from the previous Heats he joined, likely the Cavs are not going to be great any time soon before Lebron becomes old, is he going to quit this team again? Interesting to see.
