From the Mavs other forum: Today, 11:11 PM Parsons combined 11-41 in the 4 Mavs losses. Defense clamps down, he doesnt drive much. His shot is horrid and only falls against weaker competition. Today, 11:19 PM What bothered me about Parsons was that he would not shoot. He showed fear.i was disappointed in his performance. Gutless Today, 11:27 PM I'm sorry but Chandler Parsons f***ing sucks.
You can tell this dude misses Houston. He signed that contract thinking that we would match. He loved it here. He was embraced here. McHale was his favorite coach. This was his home. I don't think he appreciates the criticism that he got about his weight, and I'm sure there's undeniable pressure on him to play up to his contract. That's all Cuban's fault (and kind of Morey's fault for telling him to go out and get the best offer). I hope Ariza can pick it up again, but I have an itching that after the 3 years are up, he won't stay a Mav. I think he'll consider coming back or going to LA.
Parsons doesn't miss Houston. He wanted the money, he didn't care who payed him. McHale and Morey have stories of Parsons going to them asking if he could get more money. Parsons goes where the wind blows. He is a pro at media! When he was here, Dwight was his fav player growing up in Orlando. Parsons left Houston and all of a sudden Houston was a dirty city and Dirk was his favorite player.
Lol, Yup. That's what the experts knew heading into the playoffs, that's what he proved against Portland, and that's why morey knew he wasn't a 3rd star. so many posters think he's their friend or something.. act like he's got superstar potential for hitting open jumpers. Not even kyle korver lethal.
Not denying that money talks, but I think he wouldve strongly preferred that money coming from Houston. I think like us fans, he was a little shocked that he was on a new team. Think about it. He came in to this team, played heavy minutes not long after the lockout season started, and was really invested in his situation. It was his first professional home. He's never been accustomed to the business side of things, such as being traded or testing free agency. When he became a free agent, I don't think he thought he was going to be let go. In my mind, he's very young, and he was thrown into this situation out of the blue. I hope he doesn't stay a Mav after that contract is over. He's definitely not a 3rd superstar, and I wish he approached that situation with some caution. But for Dallas, paying that 46 mil is necessary because that team has depth and a lot of offensive options. That's gotta be one of the best Mavs teams I've seen in awhile. I just hope we could be blessed with the same health those players have. Dallas has been incredibly blessed to have such great health. Why couldn't Yao be blessed with that?
He burned the bridge when he signed the contract in a friggen nightclub AND let the pictures leak out. No way in hell he pulls that ish if he truly wanted to stay.
Carlisle is going to learn the hard way. You dot put Parsons on the opponents best player. Dallas need a Marion type of defensive player.
Parsons is doing about the same as he did on the Rockets. Slight drop but nothing big. Good role player.
Yup, about the same. All the talk from Chandler, the Mavs, and the media how he was going to expand his game, do this, that and the other and somehow was being "held back" in Houston... Not the case so far. Same ol' Chandler. Solid player, third option, and a bigger pay day.
No one except for klay and steph are Kyle korver lethal.. He is simply top 3. No one comes close to these guys at shooting the trey With that said Parsons sucks
