Im happy for parsons and I want him to do well (just not really well) Good for him he got paid.

People are butthurt around here about it and I get that, but you have to remember we dumped him.

We stated that we do not believe he is a 3rd option(I agree) we had the choice and decided against it.. the mavs think he is a good piece /3rd option.

Its a difference of opinion and we had the advantage of seeing the guy day in and out. cuban doesnt really know about parsons day to day and is acting on impulse. Classic dallas and cuban is becoming more and more like jerry jones.

There is a chance parsons can play better this coming year.. and that is why we should have picked the option, but morey out smarted himself. Oh well but at the end of the day he wasn't worth anywhere near what the mavs paid. part of what made him so valuable was his 800k contract. glue guy etc.

I do find it kinda weird how cuban is acting. and parsons too.that cheese factor has definitely come into play and come into play fierce. its weird how dallas can do that to someone. parsons definitely thinks he is hollywood. good for him but its a bit creepy.

For whatever reason I am not really worried at all about the mavs or parsons. It will be an interesting side story to the season but I dont see mavs being any kind of threat. seeing him bang tail on instagram I guess is fine. parsons will be more of a name on instagram then the court. If mavs are expecting much from him they might be careful. They better hope dirk and ellis can get them there. Parsons as any kind of reliant piece is wishful thinking at best.

I was looking at Chandlers brother's Twitter again..And I'm surprised he retweeted some of Clutch's tweets about how letting CP out a year early was a mistake (back then, not recently). You'd think his family would have spun that to be a sign of respect for his improved play and not a mistake. Do they really think Houston should have kept CP locked in at $900k?

I guess he was just looking to make the FO look foolish in whatever way he could..

Agreed. The people here remind me of the people in New York who were angry at Lin for signing his contract with us. Get over it.

Parsons was one of my faavorite Rockets, and I hope he will do well (just not against us). However I also do not see the mavs as a serious threat.

On top of that I think that Arixa is the better Fit for this rockets team (If Parsons would have stayed focussed on defense he would be ideal but we all saw that he didn't, and from the sound of what Parsons said after he signed the contract he wanted more offensive action not defensive).

Parsons does seem like he has changed though. Odd how just that blue uniform seems so much more cheesy than our rockets red. So douchey.

It's been said a million times, but I'll try again. Signing a great offer sheet? Nobody can blame you for that. I haven't really seen anyone here blame him for that! But it's nothing like Lin signing his offer sheet.

To announce it the way he did, with no thank you to Houston, just photos with our vile rival owner, at some club? And then "Hellloooo Dallas!" That's not a professional or decent way to carry yourself when taking a new job, period. No matter your profession. Did Lin carry on like that with Morey?

I'm "over" having him on our roster, but I see no reason to ignore the fact that he's kind of an immature douche. (shrug)

Almost all professional athletes are immature douches. I do not care how they behave themselves of the court (granted they do not commit a crime, altough I couldn't care less if they smoke a joint).

He signed the offer sheet in a nightclub, is that a bit strange? Sure, but Cuban is an exentric (read idiotic) guy, who wanted him to sign there. Should Chandler have said no and risk a great contract (even he knows he is not worth that money).

And once he had signed with Dallas and Houston did not match it should he not have been excited for his new team. He has to please the new fans (Howard even changed his twitterpicture into a rockets uniform).

I really did not see him do anything wrong (other than not resigning with us for the minimum, but I cannot expect him to:grin:). And to me it was exactly the same as Lin (only with the wrong teams)

To be honest, even in Houston he was always a bit of a douche.

Many were blaming him for signing it so quickly and not waiting it out to give Rockets enough time for Bosh.
I don't see it that way, I see it as him not giving Cuban the chance to take the offer back.

I thought it was mentioned that it wasn't him who posted the pic, so can the blame really be on him?
Who took the picture, it wasn't Parsons himself. With your potential employer standing right next to you, are you really going to raise your hand & say "hey, don't take a picture"?

Yes, a thank you to Houston would be nice, so is a 30% tip at a restaurant. It is not mandatory. If you feel your waiter didn't really treat you all that special, are you going to leave that large tip? Unless I'm mistaken, he did thank the team & the fans, he just didn't go out of his way to do it like put an ad in the newspaper.

I agree a photo with a rival does not leave a good taste in our mouth, but if you consider the circumstances, you really can only blame the situation, it shouldn't be on the player.

"Hellloooo Dallas!" Come on, this is directed at his new fans, don't take everything so personal.

Immature, probably. Douche, I really don't see it.

    Please elaborate.

I'm not a Parsons apologist, I just don't see the hate we should have for him. He played hard and as far as I know he was good with the fans & media. Save the hate for people who are lazy or rude to the fans ALL the time.

D-bag move for sure. Chandler wanted to sign it there and wanted the whole world to know about it. He could have easily said let me reread somewhere more private and sign it there. It's not like cuban was going to rescind the offer just because chandler didn't sign in in a club
