We have no chance to ever play the Cowboys on Thanksgiving the way the rotation is set up. Next change for Thanksgiving is 2020. Us or the Colts though.
This is going to fluctuate a lot, but seems like this schedule is tougher than this year's schedule. I expect Indy to continue improving so we may split with them at best. But anyways, we should be getting MNF/SNF for these games Denver NE SF
I like that we have some tough road games in this schedule. Seems a bit tougher of a schedule than this year's, but some very intriguing match ups. Kinda early to tell right now though since rosters will change in the offseason.
Because CBS and FOX alternate every year on which has Detroit/Dallas. As it is now, FOX gets Dallas in the even years... which means Dallas must have an NFC opponent. It has to be an odd year for the AFC to be eligible to play in Dallas on Thanksgiving, and the way the rotation is set up, the Texans go there in 2014/2022/2030, etc.
The only thing I care about the 2013 schedule is who we're going to play at home on the opening Thursday night.
Should be an interesting rematch against the Patriots. I think we may have a rilvary in the making. Especially if the Texans meet them in the playoffs, and win.
The Denver game should be epic. It will be a revenge game for them, since we are the team that's going to put an end to their dream season next month.
Don't laugh at me but the afc south could be a three team race if Jags trades or sign Tebow. I think they re the only team that would go after him. And what he did last year, hell yeah I would be scared if he was in out division. For some reason, he have trouble with running qbs.
Generally, I don't try to get too caught up in the schedule. It matters, but the only thing that makes a major difference is the flex games. All I care about (first) is winning the division. We get Patriots at home, and go on the road to face Ravens (prob) or Bengals (possibly). It's nice having the AFC-N as a flex division, because they're muddled enough, that Ravens vs Steelers (and possibly Bengals) isn't likely going to change the tide between us and the Colts (or Titans), especially with Baltimore going through a major rough patch and possibly facing some turnover in the offseason. What sucks is getting saddled with the g**d*** Pats while Colts get one of the three paper sack wearing losers in that division. Big swing there, possibly handicapping the division race by a game. The silver lining to the schedule is we could stand to be more battle tested. Can't cruise through a weak schedule and be ready for the elite in January. Green Bay and NE put us on notice this season that we're not champs yet. Still got to rise up a level and prove we belong with the big boys.
I was just referring to playing on thanksgiving in general. I simply don't care about the cowboys any more. They're just another team in the nfl as far as I'm concerned.
