Amazing how few skill position players there are anywhere remotely at the top of this list. One CB, one WR, and one QB (who should not be there) in the top 20, and that's it as far as skill positions go.
I watch a decent amount of college football (not hardcore though) and I've never heard of the projected #1 pick...Anybody else?
I've heard of him only because I'm a mock draft junkie. Thats what happens when your team sucks for decades.
I would think WR makes more sense for the Texans than TE. Texans have Daniels and Casey (I know he is technically a fullback now). Seems like they'd be smarter to add one later in the draft for depth.
I'd rather just avoid WR completely and find one in free agency. They take too long to develop and I don't see us landing an Andre replacement in this draft, might as well stick with this year's rookie WR's.
I would be hard pressed to pass up both Kevin Minter AND Margus Hunt if they are available to us in the first round. I really, really want the Texans to spend the early part of the draft focusing on making that defense more formidable. We can pick up a receiver in the second or third round, and I'd be good with that.
I think Kiper does his mocks based on how he would draft for each team, not the likely scenario. There's no QB projected in the 1st round.
I think Lotulelei is a good building block pick for Oakland, but I'd rather have Jarvis Jones. He's got Von Miller potential.
