    I sure hope so..but Allen H.S. is a BEAST.

If Katy goes Div II, then yes, I'm pretty confident they would win. If they go Div I then they'll definitely face Allen - and that would be quite a game.

Cy-Springs is on the verge of starting 3-0 after going 1-19 the previous 2 seasons. They get Cy-Lakes tonight in a rivalry game.

Also, it looks as if ABC 13 will be at the Cy-Fair-Langham Creek game tonight.

Wishing North Shore the best this season. Last season left a bad taste because our starting quarterback went down to injuries.

    Go mustangs!

The last undefeated team remaining in Cy-Fair ISD is... Cy-Creek. They outlasted Cy-Springs 28-21 in overtime tonight.

Now, there are 5 teams that are 2-1 in district play: Cy-Fair, Cy-Springs, Cy-Woods, Cy-Ridge, and and Cy-Ranch.

Ridge Point upsets Fort Bend Marshall last night.

It's not a bad loss for the Buffalos and that's a good thing for Marshall because they don't have to feel the pressure of having an undefeated season. They will come back a better team for the rest of the season and the state tournament.

This is NOT the BCS. High school football have a playoff system to determine the state champions. Anything can happen, it doesn't matter if Katy, Lamar, North Shore, etc. are the favorites in Houston and the state of Texas. There are going to be some underdog teams that have a shot at winning it all this year.

My son was at the game and said it was pretty intense. Great win for Ridge Point.

After a back-and-forth game between Cy-Springs and Jersey Village on Thursday... tonight's tilts in Cy-Fair ISD were absolute bloodbaths.

Ridge mauled Falls 42-0, and Ranch demolished Lakes 45-3. Lakes is going on 2 years since their last win, which was October 29, 2011 against Springs.

Shifting gears.... one could say that the Katy Tigers are pretty good.

At the end of this weekend's action in Cy-Fair ISD, Cy-Ridge and Cy-Fair top the district at 4-1. There are now 4 teams with a 3-2 record in district play: Cy-Woods, Cy-Ranch, Cy-Creek, and Langham Creek. Jersey Village and Cy-Springs are barely breathing at 2-3. At 1-4, Cy-Falls will need multiple miracles, and at 0-5, Cy-Lakes is looking forward to basketball season.

Going to see Stratford/Willowridge game tonight. I can remember when those two matched up in an incredible playoff game in 1988.

    I'm old.

Katy has given up 32 points all season long and they are finally tested in the regular season for the first time in a few seasons, so they drop a spot? Stupid.

DeSoto has played (and also easily defeated) harder teams including Perennial powerhouse Tulsa Union and a very good Arlington Martin team. In some state and National polls, DeSoto is actually ranked higher than Allen. They deserve to be there right now. Don't get me wrong...I'd love to see Katy and North Shore dominate the dallas teams any day, but I've just got to be honest. Katy is right where they need to be..and North Shore is well..just North Shore - usually overrated (although thats MY team and I would hope they are underrated).
