I haven't been paying much attention to the smartwatch trend. But Google Now is awesome and this is the first time I'm really interested to see a company's take on it.
Apparently Google accidentally put the Nexus 5 up on the Play Store. Price was listed at $349 which is pretty decent (N4 last year was $299 for 8GB) http://www.theverge.com/2013/10/17/4850738/nexus-5-google-play-store-price HQ picture of it: Spoiler
i call bullschiets on the accidental part google knows exactly what they're doing. may i get a slim version, google?
He's thanking Google for sticking to a similar pricing strategy. This phone is an absolute steal at that price. I think I'd splurge on the 32GB model though if it's only $50 more.
just dawned on me... upon purchasing the 32gb variant, i'll have three nexuses at the same damn time. will see about selling some. blk hp veer, wht hp veer, vzw galaxy nexus, lg nexus 4, unreleased att pre 3, and a wht moto x.
I had the ringke fusion for my nexus 4 because I didn't want to cover up the back, but I think I'm going to order the ringke slim for the 5 http://www.amazon.com/FUSION®-Selling-Absorption-Scratch-Premium/dp/B00EPLTFIS Any input on the slim?
I also have the Ringke Fusion for my Nexus 4. I mainly had it because I was scared the glass on the back would crack. Since that won't be an issue with the Nexus 5, I think I'm going to keep it without a case. I do like the Ringke Fusion case though, if I had to buy one for the Nexus 5, I'd get that one.
This phone is going to make me jump to Android. I've been looking to replace my old iPhone 4 and, although I like iOS 7, I want to give Android a shot. I prefer Google's native apps and the customization possibilities of Android. The phone is priced amazingly and looks great, too.
I see your 3 and up you 2 Nexus 7 tablets and a nexus one (broken screen) i'm about to pick up from my cousin. ****! i'm a nexus addict. Where is the support group
I just recently picked up a new nexus 7 and love it, so much so that I'm so ready to sell 5 month HTC one for the Nexus 5.
I had the ringke fusion for the n4 but wasn't a big fan. Made it too bulky for my liking so just stuck with the original bumper. No problems with the glass back at all. Even dropped it a few times. Does have a screen protector on the back though.
Nexus or die. Although, I have access to an LG G2 and that device is amazing. So I'm super excited about the N5 considering that's what it is based off of.
