better camera, i can tolerate the nexus 4's other shortcomings but the camera is absolutely atrocious for a 2012 device
haha. not sure how i missed this samuel l jackson-ish rant. did a shark jump out the water and eat you after this post?
Hah, Verizon just makes me rage. Phenomenal service but r****ded business practices. If i was Vodafone I would have asked for a trillion to break up
Nothing new from the rumors, just more leaks to support those rumors now. http://www.engadget.com/2013/10/05/more-nexus-5-details-break-cover-in-leaked-lg-service-manual/
I'm confused as to whether it will use a micro or nano sim. I thought it was confirmed it will use a nano (the smallest one), but the manuel says it features a micro sim (the one the Nexus 4 uses) Can anyone confirm?
I bought the Google Nexus 7 32GB a week ago and love it. I use it for everything, ingress, maps, browsing, ftp, rdp, music, movies. Good battery life, the screen is amazing. Will continue to get the nexus devices if they are on par with the 7.
Video doesn't show anything out of the ordinary. $300 price might be pretty good for the 16GB. If the 32GB is $350, that's what I'll be aiming to get.
Another rumor on pricing. http://www.androidheadlines.com/2013/10/rumor-nexus-5-cost-399-449-16gb-32gb-configurations.html
Based on what I know of google, and I don't know all that much, I call bs. Google is not turning into apple and won't be selling an inferior n4 with LTE for $100 more than when they were liquidating stock. I think the most they'll sell the 5 for is $349. And I thought for sure the announcement would be today.
Yeah I thought so too. I don't know if it got delayed or if the leaked date was never true from the beginning. One article pointed to it not having finished going through the FCC because of the government shut down, but that doesn't really seem believable since there have been plenty of other devices that have gone through the FCC lately.
thought that it would be today also. however, if it means a lack of shortages... i'm good with the delay. would suck having a 4-6 shipping date. wouldn't be surprised at the pricing rumors. specs indicate premium hardware.
The article is so poorly written that I refuse to believe that it's real. I think a price increase is inevitable, but I don't think Google crosses the $399 mark for the 32GB model.
I'm excited about Nexus 5, but purely happy with my N4, its been out for a year, I've had it since Feb, and it doesnt feel outdated, still runs smooth, never have to reboot my phone, and 16GB has been great for me since I have my pics backed up on Dropbox and use Google Music to listen to MP3s. I'll hop on the N5 when the price drops 10 months from now
i agree that the nex 4 is still buttery. i still use my black one occasionally (was furious when a smashed my white one). never had a non-nex phone run miui as smooth as it did.
I'm still using my Galaxy S II. I bought it 2 years ago and my AT&T contract was up 10 days ago. According to ritualistic tradition, I am to buy a new phone now, correct?
