Am I a bad person for hoping that Spain scores 10 goals on Tahiti?

    Yes, yes you are.

They only really need 6. That will give them the goal diff over Nigeria.

I imagine that most of the 2nd half will be quite boring as they'll just play possession and simply not let Tahiti touch the ball.

only one more goal. I heard Spain was the biggest favorites in Vegas odds history. Had to put $500 down just to win $1.

This ties Tahiti's worst-ever defeat. They lost to New Zealand 10-0 in 2004.

There's no 10-point mercy rule in soccer. If this was boxing or MMA, it will be already over in round 1 via TKO.

I hope so. Word out that they're discussing wages or something. I'll believe it when I see it on skysports.

Thiago and a winger should do it for United this summer unless Rooney leaves.

It's weird how there aren't any pictures, surveillance, etc., in this day and age of cell phones and what not... so I also can't say for sure it's a 100% NO to that. If it didn't happen, it's just to pile on and kicking a man while down... WAY WAY down... I mean... WAYYYYYYY DOWN. :(

If it's true, it could be no surprise after the 'tranny' scandal in Monterrey back in 2010. No scruples, don't learn from the mistakes, etc.

Great free kick, but Buffon should have saved that.

4-2 Brazil was a very harsh score line. A draw would have been a more fair reflection on the game. Brazil had two goals offiside. the first one and the last one. also neymar dived on his freekick he won for his goal, but thats football so idc. This is probably the worst i have ever seen italy's defense EVER. They were coming into this tournament on poor form. Hopefully with 4 days rest to work things out defensively, and with pirlo and de rossi coming back (our two most important players on the team), we can get some kind of positive result vs spain.

Sorry dude, but neither were offside. On the first, he was never not behind the ball once the kick was taken. On the last, #5 steps back as the shot was taken and was even with Fred. Neymar's was a bit of a dive. He created the contact. Still a lovely free kick, though.

Italy has no one to blame but themselves.

actually if you go back and look at the vid, Dante was clearly offisides - not on the initial freekick, but on the header. The last one was extremely close, a 50-50 call but he looks more offside than not. but your right only italy are to be blamed. Their form coming into the tournament has been very poor. Just earlier this year we played brazil to an exciting 2-2 draw where we outplayed brazil.
