Barca doesn't have a choice. Someone will match his release clause, at which point they have to sell. It's all up to Thiago, and I doubt he'll want to stay and sit on the bench for another season.

It's Rosell's balls on the dresser. It's his and Tito's fault the valuation is so low. If Thiago leaves I'm done with this POS president.

Confederation's Cup is for the winners of each region's championship (Euro Cup, Copa America, Gold Cup, etc.). Mexico won the last Gold Cup so they qualified.

Since the Gold Cup is every two years there have been talks about having the winners play each other to see who qualifies instead of just the winner of the one immediately after the World Cup.

They've made that the rule. The 2013 winner will play the 2015 winner in a 1-game playoff for the right to go to the 2017 Confederations Cup...unless it's the same team who will, obviously, qualify w/o a playoff.

The Brazil back line is probably the best in the business right now. They are going to be a tough bunch to go against if they are all healthy in the World Cup.

    Alves - Silva - Luiz - Marcelo

Luiz is the weakest of the bunch and even he is a stud. The only thing is that they both Marcelo and Alves come up high on the pitch to attack which leaves them open at times.

I haven't been following the Mexico team much other than I know Chicarito is very much under used at Man U.

    How have they been recently?

Scheme has totally changed, he's misusing some players... no finishing power. Can attack and maintain possession, but that's about it. There's no surprising or finisher on this team. Chícharo is probably feeling the "under use" at Man U. and due to this, less attacking power. Maybe... or, he just sucks.

No scores have been favorable in the past four or five games. We haven't scored ONE GOAL at home in these qualifiers. :(

We might have to just sit down and let the U.S. and Costa Rica coast and we'll have to play New Zealand.

Why didn't they show the replay of Hernandez making Neymar fall?

As a Barca fan, I am happy that Neymar is coming to the team but I just really wonder how he is going to fit in and if he can adapt his style to match.

Will it be like caging a wild bird or will he flourish.

That's Neymar being Neymar. Beautiful work to lead to the assist.
