That means we save about around a million. We should have enough to sign Nicely and German. I wasnt around to watch the draft, but did we draft any players that dropped, like Hinojosa or Virant from last year?

Don't know if I read it right but if a player elects for college it has too be 2 years before he can be selected again

I was asking I'd we drafted a player that is similar to virant/hinojosa as in players that dropped due to signability concerns. Obviously I didn't mean if we drafted those two players again
Not bad, if true. Jim Callis jimcallisBA @ Astros & No. 1 overall pick Mark Appel still finalizing details, but bonus will be $6.35 million. More at baseballamerica.com shortly. 7:48pm - 15 Jun 13 For some reason the embed feature is gone on my tablet and phone.
Yes, you can definitely trust Jim Callis on this. A savings of $1,440,400 pretty much means that Nicely and German will be paid handsomely. I think the Heyman report says that they agreed to the framework of a deal but were ironing it out.
Hmm I must admit I was wrong then. So what's the word on nicely and German? What kind of potential do they have?
