Might as well get my prediction in:
Obama wins the electoral vote with 47% of the popular vote to Romney's 48%. Democrats have renewed love for the electoral college.

Any rational person paying attention knows that Mr. Obama has accomplished a great deal for the country in the past 3 years. To make a blanket statement otherwise shows an ignorance and lack of knowledge that is almost embarrassing. So if you’d like to continue along that way of thinking we’ll just have to dismiss your comments as boorish and unimaginative.

This Rosen/Romney thing is befuddling. Does any one honestly think that Ann Romney raised 5 boys all on her own? The Romney's are worth hundreds of millions of dollars. I'd be shocked (SHOCKED, I TELL YOU) to learn that these kids weren't mostly raised by nannies, maids, coaches, private schools, tutors, etc., etc. I'm sure she played a part in their childhoods...even so much as to tell the nannies what to do. She might have even changed a dirty diaper or 2. But to say that she's on the same level as my wife or any of your wifes/sisters/moms or faced the same challenges is insanity at it's finest. This fake rage against the comments are just plain funny.

You didn't answer my question. You just threw out some insults and made obnoxious claims about humans ('all rational people agree with me that Obama is great').

There's a stunner. FOX News comes up with a poll that shows Romney leading.

Next we can post something from Rachel Maddow showing Obama leading 62 to Romney's 38.

It's amusing that Obama is such a huge threat to America while at the same time he's apparently done nothing. It's even more amusing for a party that believes the best government is one that stays out of the way.

meh this is one election which I really don't care who wins. I dont think my life is going to be any better or worse with Romney or Obama as president.

With that said my gut tells me Obama is going to win this election. Not based on any polls or figures just a gut feeling.

Raised your taxes (all of you, by a lot!)
Took away your Medicare (with his socialist hands)
Invented death panels (out of thin air)
Let homos into hospital rooms with other homos (you know what they do in hospital rooms?)
Let homos into the military
Looked the other way while Navy Seals killed his friend and countryman Bin Laden (darn!)
Ditto on his friend from the Secret Society of Super-Villains, Qaddafi (double dang darn!)
Locked you up in secret internment camps (do you have wifi there?)
Took away your guns (so you couldn't shoot him)
Took away your jobs (so you couldn't buy new guns)
Gave free money to those dicks in banks (dicks)
Gave free money to those dicks in car industry (dicks)
Didn't gave free money to you (that dick)
Raised your taxes (shh... it's a secret)
Let his wife tell people to eat vegetables (sick!)
Did a pee pee on Christmas (did Muslim prayers to celebrate)
Did a poo poo on The Constitution (just to see if it could be done)
Tried to negotiate in good faith with Republicans in Congress (bad call, "brother")

    No record, my ass.

This election will be a repeat of 1964, with Obama as LBJ and Romney as Goldwater. Bet the bank on it.

There's going to be a lot of Citizen's money flowing to the Romney/anti-Obama side. But really, as pointed out by Bats, what can they do with it? Call him a Muslim? Socialist? Atheist? Kenyan? When you've already crossed the line by a long way, where do you go to get an impact? Anti-Solar System? Alien life form?

Tax and spend? I think most people realize their taxes have gone down and even if they don't they are ultimately more afraid of corporations and banks than Obama. More people deal with obstructionist credit card companies, arbitrary credit bureaus, soul crushing corporations, and skimming banks every day than deal with anything related to Obama. And then there's Romney's personal story.

I will be fascinated to watch the Repubs gin up a theme to this election. I have no doubt they will eventually settle on one, but how they get there and what they choose and whether it is a winner or a whiner will inform not only this election, but likely the next few as well.

And again, if by July or mid-August it looks like an Obama shoo-in, the Romney money will dry up and it will all flow to Congressional Repubs and state politicians. I'm guessing there are more than a few Repubs sitting in DC and state capitals today hoping for that scenario.

Given that, the best outcome for Dems is to keep hope alive for Romney until October 1 and then win. It keeps the money flowing to the presidential race and reduces the amount available to the down-ballot races. Or, if it does eventually flow, maybe it is too late to be effective.

From a separate article on Crossroads

I was under the impression that these PACs could not coordinate with campaigns?

Didn't you watch Colbert when he was addressing this? It is so absurd that essentially all you have to do is say you're not coordinating.

I agree, not being allowed to coordinate is absurd
