Man, I cannot believe how the past few years the Stanley cup playoffs have been more unpredictably crazy than March Madness.

I honestly can't believe the Blues got swept. But one thing at a time.... beat Nashville tonight. I would love the game I'm at to be the series closer.

Ouch. One of my best friends is a die-hard Caps fan so I got to share the misery of that game. But more hockey to be played...

In the meantime, Go Yotes... history in the making.

Guess what "experts", a team from the Pacific WILL be in the Stanley Cup finals...

    Mike Smith continues to beast.

Thought this series would go 6 or 7 games but Rinne was sub-par and Radulov and Kostitsyn are fools.

I'm pulling for NJ to win it all, but realistically PHX/LA/NY all have a better shot (mostly due to goaltending)

LA has simply waltzed through the first two rounds in only 9 games. Compare that to the grueling OT marathons by the eastern teams. Crazy. Talk about a team coming together at the right time. Possibly knocking off 1,2 and 3 in the west before headed into the final against a beat up, tired eastern opponent. Of course, Phoenix may have something to say about that ;).

Game on! Lets hope the games aren't too far apart from here on in...

Might be a east coast-west coast stanley cup finals, L.A. Kings vs. N.Y. Rangers. That matchup will get big numbers in the tv ratings because these are the two largest media markets and metropolitan cities in the USA.

Ward was totally professional about it and owned his mistakes though. That high stick definitely wasn't intentional.

    I'm not sure I follow..

Kings vs. Coyotes would be a great series of two really good goalies.

I hope the Caps move on. I hate the Rangers and their arrogance.

    Devils vs. Caps please.

    oh no doubt

Caps pull another one out! Last goal by the Rangers was BS, but no matter...we're going 7 again! Who's the unlikely hero gonna be this time? I'm gonna guess old man Roman Hamrlik will find a way to put one in the net

Since Vancouver and Pittsburgh are gone, the Kings are the biggest trash talking team left in the playoffs. It's going to be a fun series. Almost everyone is picking the Kings (with good reason), but I'm going to enjoy seeing them get frustrated regardless.

If we had Rangers fans or Devils fans on here I'm sure they'd be "trash-talking fans" as well. Just because fans have confidence in their team doesn't mean that they're "trash-talking" fans. 99 times out of 100, Quick doesn't let that Morris goal in. It was a fluke. I have no doubt you guys are going to give us heaps of trouble, and you guys have a great chance to win this series, but that goal was a straight up fluke.
