Fade, I probably should use that list you got there, much better than the one Smeg actually sent me............but oh'well, I guess I will pick whatever my brother from down under wants, even against my better judgement.....
Andre Ethier (OF) Miguel Montero (C) Part of me thinks that Montero might be available 13 picks later in the next round, and that I should wait, but I don't want to take that risk.
Hey guys... In addition to this league, I also plan to run a league on Yahoo. I am doing this for 2 reasons: 1. I want to test out the site to see if we might want to migrate over there next year, or at some point. 2. I had a neat idea for a league that I want to try out... Well, I think it's neat, anyway! Basically, the league has 10 teams, and instead of drafting players, each owner drafts 3 MLB teams. 30 MLB teams / 10 owners = 3 MLB teams per owner. You get all the players on the 3 teams you end up drafting and use those players to make up your lineup. There is no trading. You can add/drop free agents, but you can ONLY pick up players who are on one of the 3 teams you drafted (I will have to police this manually). So, say you end up drafting the Yankees, Dodgers and Pirates... then your roster will be comprised of these players only for the whole year. The challenge comes with picking 3 MLB teams that fit well together. It will be a three round draft. I figure the first two rounds will be regular serpentine style, but the third round will be randomized. The scoring system, starting lineups, etc., will be similar to this league (as close as I can get it). Before I post it publicly, I would like to invite all of you to join! Here is the access info: League ID#: 73684 League Name: 3 MLB Teams Per Owner! Password: triple Custom League URL: http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/league/3_mlb_teams_per_owner
The listed position makes no difference at all. If he starts a game, it gets counted as a SP game... if he comes into a game as a reliever, it gets counted as a RP game. Max SP: 180 Max RP: 140
