good job leaving out the 7 assist and 2 steals

and 22 points on 19 shots is better than 23 points on 23 shots

and that series was over in 6 anyways.

This Finals win by the Lakers will always have an asterisk next to it as far as I am concerned.

    * Lakers win the 2010 NBA Finals with assistance from the NBA refs in the 4th quarter of Game 7. If you think otherwise, you're just fooling yourself.

No hating or jealousy, just stating the plain truth. I'd rather see a team win fair and square. The Lakers had assistance from the refs.

*1988 Lakers (controversial call on Laimbeer)
*1989 Pistons (Magic and Byron injured)
    *1994 Rockets (no Jordan)
    *1995 Rockets (no Jordan)
    *1999 Spurs (lockout)
    *2002 Lakers (refs)
    *2006 Heat (refs)
    *2010 Lakers (refs)

Blah, blah, blah. You can put all the asterisks you want in front of any champion- as long as the history books don't, because the whole asterisk thing is one big, fat tub of s**t created by sore losers. Lakers got the calls because they drove to the basket- the Celtics were passing it around the perimeter and no one was driving in except Rondo. Allen drove in once or twice and missed. Celtics had plenty of opportunities to put the Lakers away, and the Lakers won fair and square. Period, end of story, and:

yeah, refs helped Lakers grab 17 more rebounds.
Lakers simply wanted it more, and the loss of Perkins was the last straw.

Props to the Lakers for grinding it out. Kobe was horrible, but they had enough down the stretch.

i've repeatedly congratulated the lakers for the win tonight even i feel there was some poor calls down the stretch but it is what it is. the lakers got the win.

the only thing that perplexes me is how when stern was giving out fines for coaches criticizing the refs yet he still allows a ref who fans have complained about numerously who has a history of poor behavior during games to continue to officiate the biggest games of the season.

you would think that you would want the fans the security of knowing that the games are going to be called fairly so you would think stern would not let a guy like crawford officiate big games like this to save the "OMG CONSPIRICAY" propaganda.

    just an observation.

Refs helped the Lakers when they didn't call that traveling violation on Pau. Who knows? Maybe that would've led to OT. I guess we'll never know.
