It is hosted in Turkey and probably it would be the best thing that Turkey is going to represent so far. It is going to be fun to watch the best players in the world in my country. So who are your favorites to win it?

I actually think we'll win it. Coach K has a roster of guys that want to be on this team, not people that feel obligated.

I think... USA will win. Spain, Argentina, Lithuania, and Turkey will be fighting for the podium though.

I predict Spain will win. The core unit players from Argentina have been together for so long, they have a good chance. Team USA will only win if they play very well on offense in the semis and Final, which means lights out 3-point shooting. I give them a "puncher's chance". Brazil will be tough to beat.

Turkey, Greece & Lithuania will compete for medals but I don't think they are factors to finish first. Well, maybe Greece.

I love Turkey, the trictofin (sp?) puts me to sleep though.

Mostly the stuffing is the best part.

The world game is a lot harder to dominate with the paint being wider and 3pt line closer. Spain has the shooters to win it; to me it's 50/50 between them and us.

I think Brazil is going to have something to say before its all said and done. They are the one team that isn't going to be missing any of their NBA players. I don't think they'll win gold, but they are going to be competitive for sure.

USA will win :) ...the coaching stuffs are now experienced with international play so they know more of the game play and players to choose.

Players like tyreke evans WILL NOT MAKE THE TEAM lol...can only drive and cannot pass n shoot....they need versatile players to shoot and make plays.

It'd be crazy if Spain won it after winning the World Cup!

No, Mirsad is not playing. Llull had a surgery and an inflammation on the surgery zone so it's not clear right now.

A Spaniard just won the tour de france. That would be nuts.
