This is related to the "20 more refs are involed?" thread, but I think since it's a contest, it should have its own thread. Now, I'm personally sceptical that any other refs will be found to have done anything as bad as what Donaghy did, but I do think it's likely that some refs are going to get in trouble. So, here are the rules. Name the one NBA official that you think will get in the most trouble as a result of Donaghy's testimony, and explain why. When the dust has cleared a bit, I bet we'll be able to look back and come up with some consensus view on who was right. The winner(s) can then go around calling himself the "2007 Donaghy Rat-Out Contest Winner!". I didn't make this a poll because there are, like, a jillion refs. So be creative! Dick Bavetta? Ken Mauer? Violet Palmer? Just be sure to only name one official.
I don't think any of them will get in trouble. I think the league will decide there are too many refs to punish and let them all slide. And then stick it to the ref's union when it comes time to negotiate the next collective bargaining agreement.
All the refs who participated in Game 6 2002 West Finals with Kings/Lakers and those who were involved in Games 3,4, and 5 of 2005 1st round Rockets/Mavs. They were definitely cheating blatantly.
Since someone already icked Joe Forte, I'll choose Joe DaRosa Does anyone have any idea if Eddie F Rush is corrupt or merely incompetent?
one of the 3 guys from the same high school who apparently helped each other get in the league: Joe Crawford, Mike Callahan, and Ed Malloy
