-Doesn't play with a solid PF that can set screens and he can kick to
-His best shooting yr in his nba career in ft, fg, 3pt
-was 1-3 majority of season before his slump at finishing at the rim with lebron & Ellis
-went on a major slump, after starting the season blazing
    -1 on 1 D showed big improvements
-risky passer leads to random T.Os
-bad contract MOREY gave him, not his fault
-best rockets performance in playoff 13-14 game that = a WIN
    - #3 in rockets ALL TIME assist per game, first season as starter

Fans Want him traded ASAP, he sucks, trash, low bball IQ, Going to be very interesting to see how this kid plays outside of Houston.

Props to Lin, he was a terrible catch and shoot player his first season here but he improved that aspect of his game.

If he doesn't get traded I'd like for us to sign him to a MLE type of contract, he'd be a bargain at 4 million per year for his production. Throw 3 million to Beverly and your PG position is set. I really don't see us needing a superstar at the one.

Where's the graph for costly turn overs that cost us playoff games?

    * 3 former and one current Houston player ... Morey strikes again:p.
    * Lebron is a shocker, as it speaks volumes to how his game has improved.
    * Lin is a wild card, if he lands on a team that can exploit his strength.

Surprising stat. Way to go Lin. Still haven't forgiven you for what you did in Game 4, though...

The guy on this list that you should consider is J.R. Smith. IF....Melo wants to come to Houston.....THEN......the most likely way to get him here through sign-and-trade is to help PJax clean up the cap. That means helping him move out J.R. Smith. Here's how we do it. Get J.R. Smith to agree to a buyout of his player option by the Knicks. We then sign him with the full MLE after we trade Asik/Lin/Jones/#25/etc. for Melo. This makes up for his player option that he walked away from. And now we've got one of the best spot-up shooters in the league who can actually play some D when he wants to on a nice one-year deal.

No, I didn't say that. Your ability to comprehend what I said must be compromised right now. Read it again.

It's telling that you have to try so hard and reach so far in your attempt to validate him.

LOL Sanders and JR Smith.... I love your posting Jopat but you are getting crazy!. Where we may have saddled ourselves with trash to trade for a first star, I don't believe we will do it to bring in the 3rd. Plus JR Smith is just not a championship type of player. He is the bad kind of hard and edgy.

I believe that Carmelo Anthony will choose to win. He will go the same way as Howard did and I believe ultimately the same path will lead to the same city.

Carmelo Anthony is better than James Harden. Maybe much older but he is better.

Howard/Anthony/Harden/Parsons/Beverly/Daniels/Motiejunas is a talented group that simply needs 2 more defensive players (PG,SF/PF) away from being a great 9 man group. Give Motiejunas one more year. There is something there. I believe he can be a backup center and get minutes at PF.

    Hypothetical...

Who would be a better fit on our team, Korver or Sefolosha?

no secret I like lins game and feel that he's underrated, kinda due to his contract. It's a forum and happens to be a LIN thread, nothing wrong with me posting about him in here.

I was just talking about the cassell/parsons rookie contract trade comparisons in another thread, but hey "I'm TELLING"

I guess that means Lin shouldn't hold the ball at the end of a play. He is better at catching and shooting.
