We'd still have to beat the Mavs. Portland would have to beat Denver. Plus, either LA would have to beat Utah. -OR- If Utah beat LA, then New Orleans would have to beat San Antonio. Still too many conditions to say it's anywhere near certain that it's going to be #2 Houston vs. #7 Utah.
Obviously the original poster just moved to Houston too. We are Rockets fans. We are cursed. We WILL get Utah in the first round. A significant Rockets player will also probably get hurt. And a 3rd unforeseen obstacle will occur, we've seen refs change the way they officiate Yao mid-series, we've seen late clock starts, whats next? Adelman gets bird flu?

If that was coming from Yao or Scola, then it would mean something, but it's going to be Von's first time in the postseason vs. the Jazz. He doesn't know what's in store for him yet lol. So, disregard what he says.
The Jazz suck much more this year than they have in years past. I think it would be very cathartic to play them again and whoop their asses while they're down.
