I'm sadly to say, but that's the date where Yao and tracy had played their last game together as a Rocket. I think the Rockets will keep Yao and look to trade T-Mac in the off-season. They need to look for a more less injury prone player.
I brought this up in another thread but I want to stress I'm not advocating moving Yao. I wouldn't mind hanging on to Tracy but we have to add another star if we are going to maintain any hope for this franchise without rebuilding. If we move Tracy we are rebuilding unless we can get equal value with almost never happens.
The Yao and Tmac Era Is Officially Over!!! The Yao and Tmac Era Is Officially Over!!! Honestly who in their right mind thinks that these 2 will ever win anything in Houston? Enough of the "lets bring someone in to help them in the offseason", "they haven't had help in the past", etc. BS talk, lets just face the fact.....TMAC AND YAO JUST AREN'T MEANT TO BE!!!......You can never win when your 2 primary superstars are a.) injury prone b.) mentally soft c.) have NEVER won anything of any importance in the NBA d.) physically soft also...and by physically soft I mean they shy away from contact in the paint That is why I couldn't even get happy during our win streak, because something is always bound to happen. I'm not being a pessimist or a hater here, I'm just being an honest rockets fan when I say that the team should really look into moving both individuals this summer. A lot of teams still think Yao is a dominant big force (and he can be at times) and he has a lot of marketability. Tracy although injury prone and a proven loser could be a good piece for teams looking for a perimeter scorer. I believe both can be assets somewhere else, but there time here as a tandem that was supposed to win a title is DONE. The time to "panic" has past................... R.I.P. to the Duo of Yao and Tmac. June 29th 2004 - February 26th 2008 Thanks for the memories........
Ummm... Yao's season totals of games the last 3 years 05-06: 57 games 06-07: 48 games 07-08: 55 games Why would they trade McGrady based on injuries? Give them another season
For Yao and T-Mac's sake, I would like to say to trade Yao and T-Mac it is too hard to be a houston player
man you don't need this dumb asss **** right now so go the fkcu on somewhere. get the fkcu out of here stupid ****
I have had similar thoughts. Question though, are you actually a Rowdie or did you just name yourself that. I.E. Are you one of the people in the Rowdie section every game?
Trade T-Mac because he is injury prone?? Are you kidding? Trade Yao and his broken ass to the East. OK, I am just venting cuz the thread starter is a douche for starting this thread.
