I kind of feel Cyberx was poking fun at the people who call him a Laker homer when he suggests LA is a top option (along with Houston)
just terrible. these melo fanboys that think hes still in his 20s. further confirmation of armchairs polluting the board. hilarious
Uh, has anyone actually listened to the Stephen A. Smith commentary? First off, 99% of it is opinion, of him wishing for the LA scenario. And there's nothing wrong with that. Especially in his role, he's basically an entertainer... and the league as a whole is more compelling when the Lakers are relevant. I get it. Here's a transcript of the most relevant part: "It looks like LeBron is coming to LA! Now I don't know that to be true, but damn it I'm wishing for it!" http://www.espn.com/espnradio/play?id=23772995 And beyond a literal translation, listen to it. Specifically his tone of voice. If you think that's Stephen A. actually reporting something, I don't know what to tell you. In the past 24 hours, we've had NYT's Marc Stein — the guy who actually led the way on the CP3 story a year ago — report that there was a "growing belief" around the league that Paul George would stay with the Thunder. (Personally, if LeBron goes LA, I think PG would be a slam-dunk.) Yet we're ignoring one of the NBA's top 2-3 newsbreakers in favor of Stephen A. Smith singing and yelling things? Relax. Long way to go.
He's not going to join Houston for a Joe Johnson role. He still considers himself a star. That was evident in his interview when the Thunder were eliminated and he said that he sacrificed to try to fit into a team system but those days are over. You're right that he's a Joe Johnson-level player. Joe Johnson didn't help us and neither would Anthony. Even if he was willing to play that role.
change signing Melo to signing a 2-way player that makes an impact on both ends of the floor no idea why y’all craving for Melo
Been knowing that As usual @The Cat dropping common sense on these fools. Relax guys, LeBron is coming
