It's the highest ranked non power 5 school that is also a conference champion that gets to play in a NY6 bowl. So regardless of this game, UH is probably playing in one of those Florida bowls or Military related bowls.
4th game Herman goes into a game thinking he can out talent the other team. This won't cut it at P5 programs Tom.
Wow. 34 in the first half. Seriously. They didn't even show up... This the 3rd game they've been unprepared in every way on defense. And you can only say that because they've been so good in every other game.
UH is just going through the motions. They're not dialed in like when they're expected to lose as usual or when it's a big game. Focus isn't there
Been an issue with both Herman teams. If not for the Miracle against Memphis last year I doubt he's fielding offers from UT and LSU now. Sumlin was a great coach here but had his flaws that followed him to A&M and now they want him gone at College Station. Herman has said that they aren't deep enough to mail it in or sustain injuries and I believe he thinks this will be the case at a P5 program. It's bad knowing that there's no way UH can have a successful season without getting P5 programs sniffing around for your coach.
