    Key word: enjoy

Clark plays 25 games this season and only make 22 threes @30.6%.
    Toll @38% I guess.

If you are shooting 30%, you are not enjoying. Morey is interested in anyone who can shoot from the three 38% or more.

Mentioned him earlier in season after the Butler trade. He seemed to be out of the rotation and not too happy. Haven't followed up on his situation, but his game fits the Rockets.

I am not sure why Gary Clark is being discussed in this thread.

Having said that, it doesn't matter if he shoots 2's or 3's...... what matters is that he shoots them at a 30% clip..... that isn't going to work..... especially not with the Rockets.

If we wanted that, we could dig up Tony Allen and let him play 10-15 minutes a night.

Tilman Fertitta is worth almost five billion dollars.

    He is fine.

He just dumped tens of millions of dollars into the University of Houston football program, after dumping tens of millions into the same schools basketball program.

I made the comparison between Clark and Tolliver, and pointed out how Tolliver would be an incremental improvement. Which I think is a fair point if there’s any truth to this.

Then you-know-who had to go all pseudo-therapist on us and lecture everybody about what Gary Clark’s personal and emotional feelings are towards the 3-pt shot.

Toll has an expiring contract. Morey likes small expiring contracts such as J Holiday, Toll, Morris .....

The contracts such as Gordon Hayward, Otto Porter and Kevin Love scare Tilman.

Still waiting for Morey to actually pick up a solider player in a trade (and this doesn't include his annual "surprises").

    Really?
You want a list of players Morey traded for who were better than the guys he traded away?
(list excludes draft guys he traded for)

    Mike James
    Metta World Peace
    Kyle Lowry
    Kevin Martin
    Courtney Lee
    Goran Dragic
    Marcus Camby
    James Harden
    Cisco Garcia
    Papanikolau
    Jordan Hamilton
    Trevor Ariza
    Sergei Lishouk
    Jason Terry
    Corey Brewer
    Alexey Shved
    Pablo Prigioni
    Lou Williams
    Chris Paul

That's just the players he traded for who were clearly better than the ones he traded away. Sure, some of them are marginal role players, but he has certainly picked up solid players in trades outside of his surprise draft pick (or did you mean surprise as in mega splash moves? Because if so, you can replace a few of those names with the excellent draft guys he has traded to get)

Toliver was horrible. He can shoot but has heavy rocks for feet on defense and only hits WIDE open shots. The TWolves would trade him in a heart beat for an In & Out Burger.

he's not great but for chriss/melo with no picks i can see it for both teams.

the wolves are trying to add talent. they'll roll the dice on melo short term and criss long term over tolliver who gives them nothing.

for us, if nothing else he is an nba rotation player, albeit low end. he's got a chance to give us more than chriss, melo, and the rest of the vet min bros.
