Well I'm thinking we'd get youth and picks in any Harden trade. So that's something for a rebuild.

(However.... we'd probably have to use youth/picks to offload Westbrook, which would deplete some of the assets gained from a Harden trade.)

Hey looks like this thread still has the ability to change votes...

WBrick is now shooting 39/21/73, averages 4.5 turnovers and 4 fouls per game.

Westbrook helps with rebounding and creates space for open shooters with his inside drives and also his speed on fast breaks. Somewhat also helps on defensive side. I think this itself is an improvement considering the fact that CP3 has not been playing as good as Westbrook at this juncture.

Westbrook would be really good for us if he would just never shoot a three pointer. Hartenstein needs to shoot threes. Russ should never shoot threes.

7/27 after what 7/30 last time?

Amazing that your worst shooter is taking the most shots. Morey’s analytics department must be going crazy.

I cant blame him totally, he's in a new system, came from a team he was with for like 10 years...willing to give him a chance to better intergrate, but coaches have to figure out how to use him better and he needs to make certain adjustments

Morey must be going crazy !!!! Russ absolutely sucks shooing almost any shot !!!! I didn't love this trade but felt due to CP3 injury issues that maybe it would turn out as a net positive NOT feeling that way now DUDE SUCKS

I think we will be tied with Denver in the loss column in two weeks.

It’d be one thing if he was just having the occasional terrible game. That’d be understandable.

But the dude is consistently the worst shooter on the court in every game with high volume. He is just not good enough anymore. He is not a 2nd star. It is what it is.

I suggest westbrooks only do slam dunk or alley loop.
Grab more rebounds and do assist only. It looks like the previous nets player Martin

Especially when Houston is losing points.
If he gives his shooting chance to harden, we can win easily

Only let him shoot 2 during big lead for example 15 points or above. Never let him shoot 3 points. If he agrees, Houston will win championship this year

He brings out the rthym and rebounds.
Ask defensive coach teach him how to defense

    This guy hemorrhages possessions.

    7-30 5 TOs
    7-27 8 TOs

Thats 56 possessions given away the past two games.

I think the realist are, and always have been, those who could see that WBrick has been a bum this whole season, actually has been a bum since his MVP year.

WB's game is just a loser's game. He's the worst volume shooter in NBA history, very low IQ / terrible decision-maker, high turnover player, bad defender, and he NEEDS the ball in his hands. Can't win with that build.

Yeah that's my issue as well. He brings so many positive aspects to the game, I would love him just to be a 15/10/12 guy for the Rockets. I really think he could average 12+ assists per game in the Rockets system just by constantly driving to hoop and dishing to 3 point shooters like we saw tonight. However, he insists of getting his ~20 shots per game even if that means taking a bunch of contested long twos.
