Start Marcus or TJ. I really hope I don't see Cook - unless it's spot minutes relieving Harden at SG.
Then TJ, Smith or Donatas is going to have to fill that role. Cook is not a starter. He could (and should) see some heavy minutes but going small against OKC just plays into their hands.
These are going to be some weeeiiiird rotations. The Rockets have to replace 35ish+ minutes at the 3.
I don't think promoting a 10th man to a starting spot makes much sense for the sake of keeping Morris as a bench sparkplug. Dmo or TJones should get some burn off the bench.
I've been impressed with Morris' defense this year. Apparently, no one else is. Hopefully, he steps up again and does a decent job on Durant.
Cook isn't terrible. He's capable of starting. The safer choice would be to give Cook the start, but if the younger players step up. Then Cook only plays limited minutes.
Agreed. Of the rest of the people on our bench, I think he's the only one with a reasonable shot at slowing Durant down. That matchup would probably get him into foul trouble pretty quickly, though.
Isn't terrible compared to what? I don't mind Cook playing or starting, just not for the Rockets. Ever.

I guess the good news is it isn't a serious injury and probably just a sprain. So he probably won't be missing more than a week.
