    Mavs are overly critical of the rockets because in the 90s we destroyed them non-stop. They had one good decade, with one ring, and act like they have the showtime lakers on their hands. That said, here is what I hear the most from the dumb fans.

    1. Rockets haven't been out of the first round in 18 years but once.

    So what? You act as though going out in the second round is any better. Either way you don't get a ring. And a conference finals win but no finals ring? Second place is just first loser. Also we had a decade of the injury bug. In fact we are missing two starters right now.

    2. We are losing because of rondo and parsons.

    Again. We lost our starting pg and a starting forward as well. So we are on equal terms of bad luck.

    3. Your team relies on hardens free throws.

    This is a straw man. Most people see a questionable call and go nuts, accusing harden of playing the flop game. If he gets one a game, that still doesn't make up for all of the other real hard fouls he takes driving hard to the basket. Go watch how much he actually gets fouled and tell me it isn't other teams playing physical defense. Anytime a guard is fouled, the other team wants to be cry babies about refs.

    4. The rockets are too reliant on harden.

    I think it is safe to say this is false. Playoffs Howard, when healthy, is a beast. Also we are drenched in veteran talent who are blooded in previous playoffs. The fact the we won two without harden going off is evidence. This was also because they foolishly focused only on him and let the team have a field day.

    They've had this guy on Houston sports radio a few times. I think he is a legit Mavs fans. One of the calls got cut short because the dumbass was pulled over for talking on a cell phone in a school zone lol.
