The Griz are going to have a ton of trouble with the Rockets this season when we are healthy. Their defensive schemes are not designed to keep up with Harden and four spot up shooters. There offense depends on one PG and Randolf and Gasol.
Tipped or not that should not have counted considering you can't catch and shoot when it's .04 or less. Anyway chokejob by Sacramento in particular Ben McLemore. Cousins has to stay out of foul trouble both choke jobs started once he went to the bench with foul trouble.
I'm starting to hate Sacramento. Fool me by crushing Dallas early against Dallas, but then fall off the next 3 quarters. Fool me by killing Memphis for 3.5 quarters, but then the huge choke job. what a huge tease that team has been.
The Grizzlies are an old school squad. I love there front court! Love it. But at the end of the day, they don't score easy enough. They would be a championship contender with an all-star wing.

I think this Philadelphia experiment is going to be a colossal decade+ disaster. "Oh let's just keep being bad until we're really good" reminds me of the classic internet argument. 0. n = 0 1. Field NBDL team. Be terrible, worst in league 2. Get high draft pick. Pick project player, high "upside." 3. n = n +1 4. If n < 5, go to 1 5. ???? 6. Have an excellent title-contending team! Step 5 is what will lose Mr. Heinke the Christmas poo or whatever his job.
I think it was pretty obvious in the slow motion replay that the ball was tipped at the in bounds pass, not much and it obviously didnt change direction but it got touched, the rotation of the basketball changed and you could see the hand shaking from the contact. The clock should have started there and didnt. Refs failed to see that in about 10 minutes of reviewing the play. So much about that great new replay center.
What a meltdown from the Kings, wow lol. If the Rockets don't win by at least 20 tomorrow I'll be embarrassed, smh. I'd say that TNT qualifies as "national" and they literally just said Thompson was the best two guard in the NBA, lol.
In all seriousness, the kings are in a LEARNING how to win mode. They are going through that awkward middle period for a team who is leaving behind the doormat phase of a team and moving into the respectable phase of nba teams, which a lot of teams go through. Five years ago, the grizzlies were doing the same thing. Really, one thing costs the kings this game: demarcus's foul trouble. Had demarcus been on the floor in the fourth quarter, they wouldn't have lost the game in my opinion.
They're going to have hell breaking their young guys of all the bad habits they're developing. I really don't see it ending well, though I kinda hope I'm wrong.
