first of all shut up and B) completely agree with most of this Also "ding-dong" clyde calling for a dunk anytime the ball is remotely near the paint he calls for players to dunk when there are three defenders in the paint sometimes layups work too
jopatmcFail, Where is your... Top 10 things that I have predicted and have been completely wrong about. ...list?
Can't really disagree with most of that. But it was annoying to have to click the spoiler tags for all of it, so... Spoiler Just kidding, I, for one, actually like reading your posts .
Your signature just proves that you're a massive twat. Why do you take the piss out on your own players? Jones is a great young player. Shut the f**k up!
Seriously, what's up with all the dumb responses in this thread? Just because you have problems with other posts and opinions of basketballholic, there's no need to ridicule every post he makes and thus bringing the quality of the board down. Maybe not only new members should follow this great "algorithm" to follow when posting byScriboErgoSum. I mean, the points made are valid. We all love the Rockets, no matter what, but we don't have to love every single thing they do. Beverley, as great as he is for the team, certainly has some areas in his game he has to improve, especially his playmaking ability. What frustrates me the most is his poor decision-making when it comes to entry passes into the post. Way too often, he completely ignores Dwight or D-Mo when they have great position early in the shot clock. About Ariza putting the ball on the floor: If I'm not mistaken, he has been pretty successful when he catches the ball on the left wing and makes a hard drive to the basket (only my eye test, could be wrong). But other than that, I agree: his dribbling just wastes time without any benefit. Another thing I noticed: We waste way too many opportunities in transition. One reason is simply bad execution, the other is the shot selection: Why take a three (not a bad shot, but not the best option) when you could get easy points at the basket? Fortunately, the addition of Corey Brewer should help a lot in that regard.
