    Great win by the Rockets tonight.. As they say the real NBA season starts on Christmas.. 1-0!! Hope they learn from this game and keep playing with this intensity and consistency. Keep it up Rockets!! 1-0 baby!! :grin:

    but then again, wins against the Spurs, Thunder and Clippers even those losses out as we were not favourites and it doesn't matter if you go overtime against a team, only matters if you win

    Thunder and Spurs most likely will have homecourt advantage over us and in a best of 7 they have the better odds of advancing.

    Rockets have the talent, but there motivation knowing they will have so much to work on and achieve to beat the warriors. I don't think they care much about the regular season record. They will try to get into the playoffs , while

    riding a 8th seed is a good position to be so there first match up is the warriors. I mean go ahead and get to the two-headed monster, if they beat them, then the rest of the league, might not be as hard, road to the cavs.

    We turn the corner to mediocrity after each game.

    We most likely do not deserve a playoff spot (we would not have one in the EC)

    but we probably grab either a low seed or the 4th or 5th one.
