Once again, more words. Trump is right, this IS an opportunity for the Democrats(not sure about that money part...), but it is also an opportunity for Republicans. A crisis is always a chance for a party to win favor with the public and the party in power has a huge advantage here. Instead of talking about non-sense, Trump could very well work with Democrats in congress, he could very well get the votes in the senate, and he could pass Criminal Justice reform and I guarantee...while he wouldn't get a huge chunk of black voters, it would probably be a record increase. Probably enough to lock down 4 more years, and the GOP could finally make inroads on a demographic that could actually help them in their 'culture' war... Unfortunately, for the GOP, they have an idiot representing their party so he doesn't see the huge opportunity before him to rectify the party's mistake with a huge chunk of the population. He can continue to show 'sympathy' for Floyd but it's just more useless words and platitudes.

I certainly don't condone violence and looting. That being said, these people aren't looting stores to get rich, unlike the crooked millionaires/billionaires and politicians who have cheated, lied, and made their money robbing and deceiving millions in their scams and cover-ups. They do it for greed, plain and simple. These opportunists stealing shoes, etc...do it out of poverty and anger over a system that has failed them for many many years. One of the few things I give Trump credit on is criminal justice reform and he working with Congressional Democrats did pass Criminal justice. He also has pardoned several black people convicted in questionable grounds. For anyone else this should be a no brained political but I don’t think he’s capable of showing sympathy. I also think things have gotten so poisoned that it will be difficult from here till election to get anything done on a bipartisan basis.
