The anti-thesis of the Trump chump, Devin Nunes, these new House chairs have said
they will investigate the president-a turn of event that has put Trump on the defensive

If their goal is to waste their time investigating the president instead of trying to actually do their job as legislators then that would indicate that they absolutely did "come to play"

The Trump team will follow the stonewalling and middle-finger giving practices established by the Obama regime.

    Prepare for frustration and disappointment.

If it makes you feel better, go ahead and screech away about "Whataboutism". LOL.

"show me the man and I'll show you the crime" - Lavrentiy Beria, head of Stalin's secret police

Dems have a long history of engaging in lawfare (using the law to prosecute political enemies). Ted Stevens, Tom Delay, Rick Perry, Scott Walker, etc.

    That so weird.

We saw Hilary Clinton under the microscope for Benghazi and the emails, yet no indictment occurred. Does it not apply to women or are you just full of ****?

Benghazi was not a criminal investigation, no one was trying to get anyone indicted.

As for the emails, everyone acknowledges it was a crime to set up a classified server in your home bathroom, they just chose to give everyone involved immunity and not prosecute anyone instead.

"Hand over all your tax returns so we can find a crime" is a good example of Dem lawfare.

More of a national security issue, as our president is currently doing his best impression of a Russian asset.

Just because she was clearly guilty of multiple felonies doesn't matter because the administration was corrupt enough to sweep it under the rug.

If you're football team is losing, it can only be because the refs are in the tank for the other team. The classics never go out of style.

Every conviction up to and including impeachment will just be more proof of how the liberals are conspiring with the Deep State to double deal in order to treat honest, upstanding Republicans unfairly. Every conviction becomes a badge of honor at how unfair the world is to honest Republican heroes. Very handy for the cognitive dissonance. Well done.

They will pass plenty of legislation while also holding the executive branch accountable. You won't like many of the laws that they pass, neither will the GOP Senate or Trump.

Again, statute of limitations is still in effect.

She could be prosecuted tomorrow if she actually committed a crime.

This swept under the rug idiocy you keep spouting is really a special level of stupid.

When you have an investigation, that investigation finds clear evidence that she committed multiple felonies and the administration chooses to not indict, that's sweeping the crimes under the rug....you then have people like you coming out and claiming that them refusing to indict is somehow evidence of innocence which is exactly what they wanted. They knew there was a certain percentage of the population who would have that hot take. It would be similar if they opted to not file civil charges against OJ for murder....it wouldn't make him innocent simply because that first jury failed to do their job. .

That's incredibly unlikely. Their focus is on investigation, not legislation, and it would have to be on legislation in order to get anything that would pass the senate or be signed by the president. We're much more likely to get 2 years of nothing but obstruction and fruitless investigations out of this house of representatives than anything substantive.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said Sunday that he plans to move quickly to provide the panel's interview transcripts to special counsel Robert Mueller.

"We hope, as one of our first acts, to make the transcripts of our witnesses fully available to special counsel
for any purpose, including the bringing of perjury charges if necessary against any of the witnesses,"
Schiff declined to name who among the committee's witnesses he believed might have committed perjury, but he said he had concerns about "multiple witnesses." But former USAToday columnist Cheri Jacobus tweeted Michael Caputo's name, the one who had previously called Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos a mere coffee boy

Apparently a good one... our intelligence has investigated for two years and still nothing. Maybe they are assets too. Maybe I am a Russian bot named Dimitri.

Exactly, still nothing....excluding the 100+ criminal charges and multiple guilty pleas.
