    Indian Rapper: www.da1records.com

Hey everyone, I know this is the hangout section, so I'm gonna take a second and let everyone know about my cousin DEEP, an up and coming rapper from Jersey Village. He's dropping an album on January 18, 2005. If you're from Houston you'll probably appreciate it. He has many known rappers from the Texas area and some national names as well: David Banner, Too Short, Billy Cook, Slim Thug, Noddie, Papa Reu, Big Moe, Big Pokey, C-Note, and Jhiame. Hopefully he'll be the first big Indian rapper!!! Most of the tracks are up right now as well as a music video, everyone check it out, I know you're all bored anyways.

Well, I certainly hope he doesn't drop his debut album.

That could be a little embarrassing.

Not bad at all. He has a nice sound. Kind of makes me think of a good mix between Luda & Nelly IMO.

Indian hip-hop was a big hit in the UK when it dropped about 5-6 years ago. There's this new guy over there named Jay Sean, who's kind of in the Craig David/Mark Morrision mold.

But good luck to your buddy. If he's got skills, then he shouldn't have any problem hanging with the Banner's, Slim Thug's, etc.

Where's Super Greg on his credits list? You can't be an up-and-coming rapper and not have contributions from Super Greg. He's a great DJ!

Oh...and I also forgot Devastatin’ Dave (The Turntable Slave) and his worldwide sensation "Zip Zap Rap". No Dave...no winner!

    To answer your questions:
    A. His parents passed away a few years back.
    B. That was no Osama Bin Laden, that was one of our friends. We are Sikhs, in the religion Sikhism you're supposed to have long hair and wear turbans. After 9/11, it was sad the hate Sikhs were given because people thought they were Muslims. Muslims wear there turbans a little different than Sikhs. Actually, it's sad the fact that Muslims got hate for that. A few bad eggs doesn't make a whole sect of people bad. Timothy McVeigh blew up Oklahoma City, but that doesn't mean all other caucasians would do the same thing. Okay I'm rambling. Anyways, thanks everyone for listening, I'll be sure to send DEEP the responses.

Ok, the video could've been better, but the album is very professional.

Haha Vic, when did you start posting? I checked out his video and it looked pretty funny. The best part was MC Qua's chorus. He has one of the best "get crunk" voices. I ain't gonna knock too much, but I don't really feel his style. He does have a whole bunch of connections though.

I actually graduated with Deep from JV and new him pretty well. I had no idea he became a rapper. For being a new rapper I wonder how he was able to get Too Short and DAvid Banner to appear on his album.
