I think it's been said a time or two that Harden is actually pretty cool with Klay and Curry seeing as they are on Team USA together, this wasn't surprising at all but cool to see.
Curry sat out a bunch or 4th quarters and played much less minutes compared to Harden due to the depth Golden State has at PG/SG. Harden led the league in minutes this season but Harden had to score +25 every night to get the Rockets wins. After this series I have a lot of respect for Curry and I guess you can call me a fan. I honestly stopped caring how much attention the media gives him and I won't let it change my opinions about a player.
He may be the MVP but he is a huge drop off from what Durant was years ago and Young Lebron was or Shaq.... Huge dropoff
I agree with daywalker. Curry isn't Durant/LeBron tier. But neither is Harden nor anybody else in the NBA.
I agree with you, Curry's numbers and impact compared to Shaq or Lebron don't scream MVP but he was totally deserving this season. He personifies the new NBA. Especially the fact that he hits 3 at higher rates than Jones hits layups.
Huge drop off in what? He shoots, passes, dribbles, involves his teammates and scores more effortlessly than those guys. He just doesn't post up, block shots or dunk as well. Different positions. a PG is not a C or a PF. So yeah, he was a drop off in Center-like abilities. He was a huge upgrade in PG abilities from LeBron or shaq.
I am jealous yeah but without the emergence of Klay and Green, Curry would not be smirking that much... Houston being bounced out and not going to the Finals stings and outweighs tbh Jealousy is human nature lol but I am no ball player so this is not my field to be jealous about I am jealous about him being in the Finals and not the reason you think You cannot even admit when you are being jealous
Yeah, but in terms of talent compared to past MVP winners. He's not a transcendental talent. Or maybe he is. I don't know. If he keeps up this dominance over the next several years then he will be.
While Lebron is the best individual player in the NBA. Durant and Curry scare me more and I think they are harder to game-plan against. But what do I know i'm just a dude behind a computer.
