I've heard that there aren't any Rockets bars in NYC, only some UT bars, but if anyone knows of some good spots for Rockets fans to watch these playoff games, please share. i'll occasionally meet Rox fans at sports bars if theres a big game going on, but it's not too common. If people would be up for setting up a NYC spot to catch some of the playoff games (maybe just the weekend ones) that'd be cool. Legends? Sorry if posted in the wrong place, it's my first thread.

What we should do (learning from last year), is to take it from CF to another communication outlet that people check more consistently. It'll help a lot.
I may be down - depends on work schedule. The last time I met up in NYC was one of those one and done Jazz series like 8 years ago.
I'd be down to meet up somewhere in the city to watch the playoffs with some fellow Rockets fans. Will be in Europe through the end of April, though -- just shoot me if our season is already over by then.
NYC Rockets fans, RISE UP! Where are we watching game 1??? What are some good bars to watch the Rockets/Mavericks game this Saturday? Stout in midtown west? Any other suggestions? Let's get a viewing party going!
So we got the times now (adjusted for EST I believe): Game 1: Saturday, 9:30 p.m. Game 2 – Tuesday, 9:30 Game 3 – Friday, 7 p.m. Game 4 – Sunday, 9:30. Let's get this going.
For those who live in brooklyn area come to the Mayfield at 688 franklin ave for games 1 and game 3 (franklin ave between prospect pl and park pl) . I work there and will definitely have the game showing. Games 2 and 4 i will be working at a new bar / taco truck at 323 Franklin ave (corner of franklin and clifton).
For the people in Manhattan/willing to go to Manhattan, I would put in recommendation for Blondie's based on last year's playoffs. My number is: Spoiler two81 - 6two7 - 4two5seven let's get the ball rolling. time is of essence.
Yea, we should just pick a place and make this happen. That way, we can post later and say we actually got a viewing party together (even its just 3-4 ppl...) and we can just build on that for the future. So let's say Blondies for the 930 game. Will they have audio? I may bring a friend or two, they are not rockets fans (not Mavs fans though, just nba fans)
