With the moves, are the Rockets a better team than the Blazers?

We would beat the blazers. Josh Smith on Aldridge and the rockets as a team playing defense are series game changers. If you look at last year's playoff series every game was close, refs weren't on our sides and Portland hit a lot of lucky shots too. All that won't happen again.

I was buthurt about not getting Rondo and Mr Morey sorry I doubted you and Detroit thank you because of the Pistons we now are bringing another title back to Clutch City. Against the Grizz the refs where getting all the calls and Howard had a terrible night and we still pulled it out. Wait til these cats get some games under their belt together. UNSTOPPABLE !!!!!!!!!!!

 

we going beat them no doubt about it. Compare to last year we have better bench, James MVP Harden is playing Execllent on both ends of the floor,and now added Smith. This team going be really special, i have faith in them. We can go all the way.

 

We were better than Blazers last year too, at least talent wise. Now the talent and the new D culture is MUCH better. A lot of teams in West are worried, not just the Blazers.

I want to say the Rockets would win a series ... but I really wonder because this team isn't nearly as good on the offensive end as last years squad. Really need to find someone who can create some offense beside Harden or when he is on the bench.


I have to wonder about Smith guarding Aldridge too .... He had his way with everyone McHale put on him early in the series and Asik is a great defender. Will Smith really be a better matchups ?!


Lillard .... is amazing. I hate that guy .... cause he plays for the other team.

 

Smith is the perfect defender against Aldridge. He has the length, athleticism, and foot speed to really bother LMA. If Smith can contain him from going MVP on us, we will beat them.

assuming dwight takes off in january we'd beat them with or w/o smith. too much firepower esp if jones is 100% at march. with the new team defense i still lean towards the rockets if brewer wasnt here. it would be another close series but the defense would be the x factor.

We ARE better than them, even in the playoff series last summer, WE were the better team and everyone knows it. Bad breaks and mental breakdowns are what defeated us.
