Dwight's going to lead this team to a BIG season.....much better than most think.

Despite what we lost this offseason, I think this team has a chance to be better than it was a year ago.

Most importantly, James and Dwight have had a year with each other and I think will mesh even better than last year. Dwight will be better than he was last year. If Ariza can keep up his shooting, I think his defensive intensity makes him a better fit for us than Parsons was. If Terry can bring back any of his playmaking abilities from Dallas, he's a better fit than Lin was as a 6th man spark off the bench because of his consistent shooting. If Jones, DMo and our other offseason acquisitions can hold down the PF/backup C rotation, especially on defense, then I think we'll be a force to be reckoned with.

So excited for the season. GO ROX!!!

 

if dwight can be better than his orlando days, then he can lead this team to the finals. magic dwight was hard to score on in the paint.

 

The DH we saw in the last 1/4 of the season was a glimpse. The DH was saw against Portland was the truth. The difference there was the rest of the team hadn't learned how to play off DH yet. I've been saying all along that DH has shown growth all season. If that continues, he's gonna be scary good. If that happens and our shooter can hit open shots, good night. A lot of "ifs" there but I'm cautiously optimistic. My biggest concern about this season is lack of depth.

So sick. Obviously, this is not a reasonable expectation for the type of pace he can keep up over a whole season. But he is clearly over whatever injuries had plagued him before and back to being a dominant player. 23/12/2 is by far the best center in the league and a legitimate MVP candidate. That's what I expect from him this season. We are being seriously underestimated by Vegas and the rest of the league. I think 55 + wins are in our future considering Dwight's leadership.
